The beauty of Myanmar

Just a few images of the new place where Dan ends up on his new adventure. He is chased by a dangerous and secretive force and there is a huge amount at stake.

Can this ancient land give Dan a hiding place and a chance to fight back ?

The photos above show a place called Bagan, which is one of the most amazing places on earth. It's a massive plain simply full of Buddhist temples and pagodas, by the banks of the river Irrawaddy. Most of the temples were built between the 9th and 13th centuries.

While on the run Dan ends up here. Learning about Myanmar has been fascinating. It's a much larger country than I thought. From a geo political point of view Myanmar also important- it's very close to China. The scenery is stunning, and the different types of people who make up Myanmar are fascinating too.

These threads will emerge in the new novel! For now, I have to stop myself from reading more about the place, and get to the writing!
